NACBA Board and Officers

NACBA is governed by a Board of Directors and elected officers.

The nine-member Board of Directors serve staggered terms of three years each. Each year, three director seats are up for election. The membership is notified of the election prior to the annual convention, and candidates for seats are asked to submit statements of candidacy. Prior to the convention, ballots are mailed out and the membership makes its selections. The results of the election are announced at the convention.

Organization officers include a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Board of Directors elects officers every two years, with a new set of officers taking over on January 1 of odd-numbered years. The current administration, headed by President-Elect Henry Sommer, took office on January 1, 2005, and will serve through the end of 2006..
